Sports Club:

In the tapestry of educational experiences, The Kevin’s School Sports Club with the Guidance of Mrs.Lakshmi, Mrs. Sreeja and Ms. Sangeetha, stand as a vibrant thread that weaves together physical fitness, teamwork, discipline,and character development. Beyond the arena, the lessons learned on the field resonate in classrooms, careers, and personal lives. Our Sports Club is not merely a venue for games but a nurturing ground for holistic growth, where potential is harnessed, friendships are forged, and virtues are cultivated – all in the pursuit of creating well-rounded students equipped for the challenges of the future.



Tamil Literary Club:

In our Tamil literature forum, every student is encouraged to express their views fluently, which helps improve their self-confidence and personality. Our forum organizes quizzes, storytelling, songs, and other activities for students. There is no doubt that our literature forum serves as both a platform and a bridge, enabling every student to speak Tamil fluently, respond, engage in discussions, and speak with confidence and proper accent.



English Literary Club:

The English Literary Club at St Kevin's Anglo- Indian Hr.Sec School is a vibrant forum where young minds come together to explore the world of literature under the guidance of Mrs.Miriam gloria, Mrs. Theresia and Mrs. Shiny. Through book discussions, poetry recitations and story telling sessions students not only enhance their language skills but also cultivate a love for reading and writing. This club provides a platform for creativity to flourish, fostering a deeper appreciation for the beauty of English language among students. It's a space where imaginations take flight, and the joy of literature becomes a shared experience.



Guides Club:

Guiding is a character building Educational Movement . It is an International Movement.

• A guide is a friend and sister to every other guide
• A guide loves nature
• A guide helps to protect public property.
• A guide is courageous

Under the guidance of Mrs. Anuradha, Mrs. Priya and Mrs. Delilah this movement instill these qualities in their students.



Child Wellness Club:

Child wellness club emphasizes the importance of well - being.It helps students understand that wellness encompasses of a healthy body, a sound mind and a tranquil spirit. The students get to know the various dimensions of wellness Physical, Psychological, Emotional, Social, Spiritual, Intellectual, Career, Creative, Financial, and Environmental which influences the habits, attitude and knowledge relating to an individual and community. Under the able guidance of Ms Divya, Ms.Jasmine, Ms.Kavitha and Ms Sayeeda the students transform the school as a place of promotion of health and well- being with in the community.



YSM : (Young Students Movement)

The YCS/YSM was first created for Catholic workers by Cardinal Joseph Cardijn in the year 1920 at Belgium after the First World War. YCS/ YSM provides a platform for the students to come together in small groups of 8 to 12 members where they share their Interests, problems, experiences and anxieties and to fine a solution on their own through the YCS methodology – ‘See, Judge and Act’ (ie) Awareness, Reflection, Action and Evaluation.

This is purely CELL based movement which focusses on self, others and God. The animators for the movement are Mrs. Mrs. Roy, Mrs. Soumya and Mrs. Kavitha. This year 2023 – 2024, our school YSM unit has around 60 members and are divided into 8 CELLS. Cell meetings are conducted on Thursdays at 3pm.



RSP:

The Road Safety Patrol (RSP) movement in our school is a wonderful initiative that aims to promote road safety awareness and responsible citizenship among students. Here's an overview: Objectives 1. To educate students about road safety rules and regulations 2. To encourage responsible behavior among students while using roads 3. To develop leadership and teamwork skills among RSP members 4. To foster community involvement and partnerships with local authorities



Nano Nagle Club:

Nano Nagle club was inaugurated in 2016 by our beloved headmistress Sr. Vinita, to revitalize our students with Nano’s vision and empower them to be the carriers of Nano’s mission. Nano’s club exuberates with a wide range of activities which help the pupils to express their talents, discover their identity and illumine their little world with the light of God’s goodness. “If I could be of service in saving souls in any part of the globe, I will willingly do all in my power” Nano Nagle.
